COMPENSATION

$16 to $18 Hourly (BASED ON EXPERIENCE)

 

EMPLOYMENT TYPE

Part-time, 10 to 30 hr wk

 

Join the HVAC industry leader in the assessment, cleaning, restoration and replacement of duct systems and air conditioning equipment.

 

EnviroAir Systems is looking for an HVAC labor/helper for our Tampa location and surrounding areas.

PURPOSE/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for helping with the proper cleaning, remediation and replacement of residential and commercial HVAC air duct systems and air conditioning equipment. You will help complete the work with other technicians throughout the work process. You must be responsible, reliable and have a good work ethic.

DUTIES

  • Work with lead techs to complete jobs and projects HVAC related

  • Responsible for the quality and completion of job tasks given to you

  • Ability to work in attics and/or ductwork to complete job tasks

  • Help maintain company vehicles and equipment

  • Climbing and working from ladders and other lift type equipment

  • Loading and unloading equipment (60+ lbs.)

SCHEDULING

  • Monday through Friday 7:00am – 6:00pm, Work is usually performed within this timeframe.

  • Occasional weekend and evening work

  • Occasional overnight travel and out of town work

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • No experience necessary

  • Must have transportation to and from jobsite

  • Must be able to pass a background check

  • Willing to work Saturdays and out of town as necessary

  • Ability to handle a physical workload

  • Must be service oriented, a problem solver and have pride in workmanship

  • Able to work with a crew while completing the job

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Employees employed for this position must be able to perform the essential functions of the job without imposing significant risk or substantial harm to the health and safety of themselves and others

  • The position requires lifting up to 65 pounds alone and over 85 pounds with additional assistance

  • Ability to drive, move in and out of vehicles, climb ladders, traverse steps or rafter beams in attics and move through a facility as required

  • Able to wear respirator while working

  • May work on roofs, in attics, crawl spaces and other confined spaces

  • Must work with chemicals and in dirty conditions
