My wife and I recently contracted with Tampa Air Systems to clean all the air conditioning ducts and returns in our home. We have an older home and had never had this service performed. My wife is currently experiencing some allergy issues and her Allergist highly recommended having the ducts cleaned. Before contracting with Tampa Air Systems, I called a number of companies with very mixed results. Among these companies, Tampa Air Systems was the ONLY company that was NADCA-certified and gave me straight answers to all my questions. Our service was performed by Chris and DeMarcus of Tampa Air Systems. They were both very professional, efficient, and thorough. As it turns out, we had a serious amount of black algae in the air handler, the air returns, and in a number of the supply vents. I was able to clearly observe and even smell this black algae, and my wife and I were quite dismayed that these health-impairing conditions were present in our home. So in addition to the duct cleaning, we had Chris and Marcus treat all the areas containing the black algae. The fact that Chris is also a certified and experienced HVAC technician was a big plus for us. He was able to give me lots of good tips for improving our air quality and the efficiency of our A/C system. I would highly recommend Tampa Air Systems to anyone in the Tampa Bay area who is interested in greatly improving the air quality in their home. The NADCA certification is very important and ensures that NADCA standards will be met in your home, the same as they are in schools, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities. The personnel from Tampa Air Systems are VERY professional and honest, and we were much impressed by their dedication to doing an excellent job for us regardless of the time and effort involved! -J.
